Here are some frequently asked questions about mini sessions.

I’m so glad you asked! Photo-ready outfits are crucial for getting great images!

Your mini session includes a digital wardrobe guide, and I’m happy to check out wardrobe options via email if you want to send me photos.

Mini sessions include a mix of traditional posed (smile at the camera) and lifestyle (candid appearing) images.

If you want only one type of images, you can let me know at the start of your session.

Mini sessions include the following; 

  • A set number of images of your choice from a proofing gallery – check the details of your specific mini session for the number of images included
  • Printing rights, aka permission to print
  • Wardrobe guide with color stories and tips for keeping little ones happy in chilly weather
  • Additional images available for purchase – check the details of your specific mini session for pricing

I currently accept Credit Cards via a secure invoicing page which is processed by Square. Checks are not accepted for mini sessions.

Mini sessions have a firm 15 minute length. Due to the back-to-back schedule for mini sessions, there is no flexibility for late arrivals, and session length can not be extended or made up if you arrive past your start time.

Holiday mini sessions sell out shortly after being announced. I recommend booking early to assure availability.

It depends on how quickly you select your images!

You’ll receive your proofing gallery 5 business days after the session date. Once you’ve selected your final images, you’ll receive the edited images an additional 10 business days later.

Mini sessions have a pre-announced rain date which is typically the next day. (i.e. initial session date Saturday with rain date on Sunday.)

Please ensure you are available for both dates as there will be no refunds issued if it rains and you’re not available on the rain date.

Your final images will be hosted online for 30 days from date of delivery. After that time, there is a service fee to re-upload the images. I only archive images offline for one year, so please make sure to backup your images!

Mini sessions are only offered on the date and rain date they are scheduled. There are no reschedules for mini sessions.

Unfortunately pets are not allowed during mini sessions.
